Why are colour prints so much more expensive than black and white?

Colour prints so much more expensive than
black and white people prefer things that
appear good. For example, colourful photos
much better than black and white photos, they
are more beautiful. So, demand for colour prints
more than demand for black and white. I think
that is why colour prints so much more expensive.
